Just like Jesus promised to remember the nameless thief he died next to, Jesus promises to remember you. No matter how long it’s been since you last spoke He remembers it like it was yesterday. Regardless of how far away from Him we drift he remembers us long after we have forgotten. “I will never forget you.” (Is 49:15). Every name ever given, every smile ever made. Long after the world has moved on God remembers. Mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, grandparents, great grandparents, as far back as the family tree goes. Our blood cries out to Him, (Gen. 4:10, Rev. 6:10) “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” “Truly, I say to you today, you will be with me in paradise.” (Lk 23:42-43).
