Richie Halversen is an international speaker, author, and hope dealer. He currently serves as Director of Church Growth & Revitalization for the Southern Union Conference where he coaches churches, pastors, and lay leaders to maximize their impact in evangelism, church planting, and revitalization. He has been married to his wife Brittney for 24 years. They have four children: Kaleb, Hayley, Tristen, and Taylor.

For years Richie struggled with opioid addiction until discovering new life in Christ. He now spends his time sharing the hope and healing he found with others. He shares an honest and compelling look into his struggle and recovery with addiction in his book The Darkness will not Overcome: One Person’s Struggle and Recovery from Opioids.
