Speaking at Hamilton Community Church

Richie Halversen is an author, evangelist, church planter, and pastor. He currently serves as the Director of Church Growth & Revitalization for the Southern Union where he coaches churches, pastors, and lay leaders to maximize their impact in evangelism, church planting, and revitalization.

Richie grew up in a family of evangelists. His dad Richard Halversen, who’s worked in evangelism for 40+ years, as well as Richard’s brother (Richie’s uncle) Ron Halvorsen. This imprinted on Richie and would prepare him fohis eventual calling in ministry. However, during high school Richie began experimenting with drugs and alcohol. For years he struggled with drug addiction until finally surrendering to new life in Christ. He now spends his time sharing the hope and healing he found in Christ with others.

He has been married to his wife Brittney for 25 years. They have four children: Kaleb, Hayley, Tristen, and Taylor and a cat named Kitty. They live in the Chattanooga area and love spending time together hiking, cooking, disc golfing and playing games together.

Pastor Cris Cazarine, a dynamic leader with five impactful years in pastoral service, is currently pursuing a Mass Media Communication-focused Doctorate in Ministry at Andrews University. Dedicated to innovative ways of spreading love and faith, Pastor Cazarine began as an associate pastor at the Raleigh Church, swiftly becoming integral to the community and fostering spiritual growth. Her commitment is evident in successfully planting a young adult church in Apex.

Currently serving as the Young Adult Director for the Carolina Conference, Pastor Cazarine focuses on the spiritual well-being of young adults. Educationally grounded with a Bachelor's Degree from Southern University and a Master in Divinity from Andrews University, her pursuit of a Doctorate reflects her commitment to continuous learning. Beyond her roles, she, as a devoted mother and wife to Sebastian, finds joy in family life. Actively engaging in socializing, she seizes every opportunity to share the transformative power of faith. Pastor Cris Cazarine's life is a harmonious blend of service, education, and a lifelong commitment to positively impacting young adults through faith—a testament to the belief that faith is a calling to make a difference.

Floral Crest Empowerment Weekend with Tom Evans

Dr. Tom L. Evans is CEO of Child Impact International. Tom’s wife Mara is originally from Brazil. They have 4 sons and 3 grown daughters. Two sons were adopted from an orphanage in Latvia. The youngest, Andris, just passed away after two relapses with leukemia. He was 14 years old.

Tom has served in various denominational roles including Conference Youth Director, Senior Pastor, Church Planter, Conference Church Planting and Stewardship Director, Seminary Professor, Conference President, and Conference Outreach Ministries Director. During his time as Church Planting Director for the Texas Conference, 114 new churches were planted over a period of 9 years. This initiative was the subject of his Doctor of Ministry degree from Andrews University.

A significant ministry passion for Tom and Mara is advocating for the marginalized and disadvantaged. They believe that every believer is called to engage in Jesus’ Acts 1:8 strategy and minister in tangible ways to “the ends of the earth.” This biblical focus should emphasize the spiritual and physical needs of foreigners, widows, orphans, and the poor. Through speaking engagements and mission trips, the Evans family have ministered globally.

Stop postponing your pardon. Because if you do, like this servant, you’ll end up in a prison. You don’t need more time. An infinity wouldn’t be enough to settle your debt. If you have to earn your place, it wouldn’t be grace. If you have to earn forgiveness, then it isn’t forgiveness. Matthew 18:27 says, “the master released him.” That’s what forgiveness does; it releases you. It sets you and those around you free. Experience the release of God’s forgiveness. You will never be more ready than you are right now to receive God’s forgiveness and experience the release of reconciliation.
